Pe de o parte, e această fată, Iris, care vede cum bărbatul pe care îl iubeşte se va căsatori cu o altă femeie, iar pe de alta parte, Amanda îşi dă seama că partenerul ei o înşelase. Deşi locuiesc în parţi ale planetei diferite, ele fac schimb de case, probleme şi îşi gasesc în final perechile potrivite.

Ryden Malby, personajul interpretat de Alexis Bledel îşi planuise deja cariera, şi în funcţie de ea, viaţa, înca din liceu. Dar, lucrurile nu merg întotdeauna bine şi este nevoită sa se întoarcă sa locuiască împreună cu parinţii. E un film foarte amuzant şi chiar surprinzator. Vi-l recomand. Pupici.

Deşi filmul e din '96, mi s-a părut o poveste foarte interesantă şi amuzantă, ce se bazează pe pe întalnirea întâmplătoare a doi părinţi singuri, care îşi împărţeau viaţa între slujbă şi copii. Melanie Parker (Michelle Pfeiffer) este o arhitectă inteligentă, devotată carierei şi fiului său. Jack Taylor (George Clooney) este un ziarist de investigaţii, ce încearcă să ducă la capat un articol despre o ilegalitate comisă de primar. El se vede nevoit să-şi asume responsabilitatea de părinte timp de o săptămână, cât fosta sa soţie îşi sărbătoreşte noul mariaj.
Copiii, foarte drăgălaşi şi năzdrăvani sunt cei datorită cărora Melanie şi Jack continuă să comunice şi să se vadă.
